How Much Snow did East Greenwich Get?

It depends on where you live, but most saw 4 or more inches.

EAST GREENWICH, RI—After a snowy Saturday, Rhode Islanders are digging out and in East Greenwich, snowfall totals ranged from 4 to 8 inches depending on location and where the wind blew.

The National Weather Service has compiled various reports from weather spotters, the general public and social media to show that snowfall totals were the highest in Washington County by far with Block Island leading the way with 13 inches.

Here’s the list as of 10:30 a.m. Sunday. It’s important to note that the measurements are based off reports collected by the weather service. A measurement in one back yard can be drastically different than another. In Coventry, for example, multiple residents on Twitter posted pictures of more than ten inches on their decks yet the weather service reports just 7.1.
