MA Man Drove Over Girlfriend's Legs In East Greenwich Parking Lot: Cops
The girlfriend said "her legs were driven over at least two times," according to police.
EAST GREENWICH, RI β A Massachusetts man ran over his girlfriend's legs as he was pulling out of a spot in an East Greenwich restaurant parking lot, police said.
An officer responding to the incident outside Blu on the Water shortly before 12:30 a.m. Sunday found the woman "lying on the ground in the Blu valet parking lot" next to a 2020 Lexus RX 350, according to an East Greenwich Police Department report.
The woman had "blood dripping from her nose and mouth," the report said. "She appeared confused, hysterical and intoxicated. (The officer) was later informed (the woman) was bleeding from the back of her head and had tire marks on her legs."

"They walked to his car where he told (his girlfriend) to move out of the way of his vehicle," the report said. "Luccio stated the vehicle was a 'tight squeeze' and (he) had to fold in his driver's side mirror to get the vehicle out of the parking space."
The Lexus was backed into the spot, police said, with the rear of the vehicle facing a cement block wall.
Luccio, a resident of Uxbridge, "assumed (his girlfriend) had walked past the vehicle," the report said. "He claimed to have not seen (her)."
A Blu on the Water security guard said he rushed over and pulled the girlfriend out from under the Lexus by her legs, according to police.
A Blu on the Water valet told officers he "noticed the Lexus on top of a woman wearing jean shorts and a black top," the report said. "He saw the operator of the vehicle reverse over her legs, attempting to free her. (He) claimed to have instructed the operator to drive forward to get the vehicle off the woman's legs."
The girlfriend later told police she "remembered dropping her cellphone in front of Luccio's vehicle," the report said.
"She believed when she bent down to pick the cellphone up is when she was struck and ran over by the vehicle," the report said. "She stated the vehicle came to a stop on her legs before reversing, and then rolling forward. She also stated her legs were driven over at least two times."
Luccio was charged with driving under the influence, police said.
When searching Luccio, an officer found a rolled plastic bag that "contained a white powder substance which I estimated to be cocaine," the report said.
