West Warwick Man Gets Hit By Pickup Truck, Dies In East Greenwich
East Greenwich police say a 60-year-old West Warwick man died after being hit by a Toyota Tundra.
EAST GREENWICH, RI — A 60-year-old West Warwick man died after being hit by a pickup truck in East Greenwich, police said Tuesday.
East Greenwich police said the crash happened around 7:30 p.m. Saturday on Division Road near the West Warwick line. According to police, the man was struck by a 2013 Toyota Tundra.
Police said the crash victim was taken to Kent County Hospital in Warwick, where he was ruled dead.

Police have not yet identified the victim. He was wearing dark clothing and was crossing the street at Extended Street hotel when he was struck, police said.
The pickup truck driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police, the department said. Speed does not appear to be a factor.
