5 Things to Know About This Weekend
Pleasant weather; farmers market; beer festival; strawberry Thanksgiving; free passes to local attractions.

Here are five things you should know about in and around East Providence this weekend:
- A pleasant sunny weekend is in store with temperatures getting up into the high 70s each day.
- The Go Local farmers market runs on Saturday from 9 am to noon at the Barrington Congregational Church – the "White Church" – on County Road.
- The Hopkins Center for Civil Rights, with the support of Brickyard Wine & Spirits of Barrington and The East Bay Home Brew Club, present the first East Bay Beer Festival next to the Blount Clam Shack in Warren, 335 Water St., starting at 12 noon. Proceeds benefit the Hopkins Center and TAP-IN.
- The Oak Knoll Audubon Society sanctuary in Attleboro, 1417 Park St., holds a Strawberry Thanksgiving harvest celebration starting at 11 am.
- Stop by the Weaver Library and get a pass for a variety of local attractions you can visit this weekend – Battleship Cove, Southwick’s Zoo , Higgins Armory Museum in Worcester, Old Sturbridge Village and The Hall of Patriot Place.
