Ann M. Williams, 80, Lived in Rumford 45 Years

A celebration of her life will be held today at Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church in Pawtucket.

Ann M. (Allen) Williams, of Tryon Avenue, Rumford, East Providence, died peacefully on Aug. 5, 2013, surrounded by her loving family. She was 80.

She was the wife of the late Robert M. Williams. Born in Pawtucket, a daughter of the late Howard E. and Ethel (Richardson) Allen, she lived in Rumford for 45 years. 

Williams was a member of the St. Patrick’s Senior Center in Cumberland. She enjoyed spending time with her loving family and friends. 

She is survived by two daughters; Tracy W. Rocha and her husband Robert T. Rocha of Barrington and Andrea M. Williams of Rumford, a loving grandson; Derek T. Rocha of Barrington, a sister; Jean Hunt of Cumberland, a brother; Robert Allen and wife Caroline of Bradenton, FL, a dear friend; Lisa Giangiacomo and several nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Shirley Quinn, Constance Riccio, Ruth Rubinacci, Estelle Holburn, Richardson, Earl and John Allen. 

A Celebration of her life will be held today, Aug. 9, in the Smithfield Avenue Congregational Church, 514 Smithfield Avenue, Pawtucket at 10:30 am. Burial will be private. Calling hours and flowers are respectfully omitted. Contributions in Ann’s memory to Amos House, 413 Friendship Street, Providence, RI, 02907 would be deeply appreciated.
