Antonio D. Vieira, of East Providence, died peacefully on Aug. 6, 2013, at Rhode Island Hospital surrounded by his loving family.He was 62.
He was the husband of Margarida M. (Sousa) Vieira. Born in Santa Maria, Azores he was a son of Irene (Avelar)Vieira and the late Lucio Vieira.
Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Irene Tellier and her husband Ryan and Marisa Colucci and her husband Andrew, one son, Tony Vieira, four grandchildren, Emma and Owen Tellier and Nolan and Max Colucci, two sisters, Lucia Botelho, Ana Cabral and many nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 10, at 8:00 AM from the Perry-McStay Funeral Home, 2555 Pawtucket Avenue, East Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 AM in Saint Martha’s Church, Pawtucket Avenue. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.
Calling hours are today from 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers contributions to the RISPCA, 186 Amaral Street, Riverside, RI 02915-2223 would be appreciated.
