Celebrating Summer Solstice in E.P.

The longest day of the year is today, June 21, also known as the first day of summer. What will you do to celebrate?

The summer solstice is the longest day of the year and it's today, June 21.

The summer solstice is the time of year when the northern hemisphere is tilted towards the sun the most and it is also the official first day of summer.

You may want to take advantage of those extra sunny hours with a trip to the beach, a backyard barbecue or a summer solstice celebration -- like the one tonight at 6:30 pm at the Audubon Society's Oak Knoll wildlife sanctuary in nearby Attleboro.
