E.P. Residents Get Their Citizens 'Bricks'

Six East Providence residents who have worked for 25 years at Citizens Bank were honored recently at a 'Brick Dedication Ceremony'.

Six new red bricks bearing the names of East Providence residents will be laid in One Citizens Plaza in Providence -- the plaza outside the headquarters of Citizens Bank.

The bricks note at least 25 years of service to the bank. Honored at a "Brick Dedication Ceremony" were Lisa West and Cynthia Norberg in the East Providence office; Toni Mancini, Beth Romano and Cheryl Lemos in the Warwick office, and Clara Roderick in the Cranston office.

This year’s ceremony honored 152 colleagues and retirees from New England, the Mid-Atlantic and the Midwest. Honorees were given a brick with their name engraved on it that will be placed as a permanent part of Citizens’ history.
