East Providence Robbery: One Suspect In Custody

Taunton, Mass., police have one suspect in custody, Lt. Raymond Blinn confirmed Friday. Details are coming later today.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Police have collared one of the two suspects connected to Saturday's robbery and stabbing at Towne Wine & Liquor, Lt. Raymond Blinn confirmed on Friday. The Taunton, Mass., police arrested him Thursday night. The other suspect is still at large.

Taunton and Raynham, Mass., police and Pawtucket and East Providence have been working together to find the two suspects who are implicated in robberies in the four towns. On Saturday, they allegedly robbed a Pawtucket store and then held up the store in East Providence. During that incident, a customer, a 68-year-old man, was stabbed.

Blinn said police will release more information later today.
