Eleanor (Andre) Langlois: Grandmother, St. Francis Xavier Member

Burial set for Friday, 9 a.m., in St. Francis Xavier Church.

Eleanor (Andre) Langlois, of Mauran Ave,. died peacefully surrounded by her family at home Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, according to Rebello Funeral Home. 

She was the loving wife of Walter R. Langlois Sr.

Born on a Christmas afternoon, in Providence, she was a daughter of the late John and Mary (Fratus) Andre. She was a communicant of St. Francis Xavier Church and was a member of the Holy Rosary Sodality.

In addition to her husband of 59 years, she leaves her children, Lillian Martin and her husband Robert of Seekonk, Walter R. Langlois Jr. and his wife Donna of Sandwich, MA, and John Langlois and his wife Michelle of Barrington; her eight grandchildren, Amanda, Rebecca, Douglas, Sarah, Stephanie, John Jr., Alexander and Christopher; and her three great grandchildren, Preston, Hailey and Chloe.

She was the sister of Lillian, John, Eugene, Alfred and Henry Andre.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, at 9 a.m., in St. Francis Xavier Church, No. Carpenter St., East Providence. Burial will follow at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.

In lieu of flowers, Eleanor's family graciously appreciates a Mass of Intention be requested for her.
