EP Liquor Store Robbery Suspects At Large: Customer Stabbed
Towne Wine & Liquor store was robbed minutes before 9 p.m., East Providence police said. A customer was found suffering from a stab wound.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—Towne Wine & Liquor store was robbed minutes before 9 p.m. on Saturday, East Providence police said. Police responded and found a customer suffering from a stab wound. The victim was found lying on the floor inside the store at 179 Newport Ave. He was taken to Rhode Island Hospital and is expected to survive.
According to witnesses, two suspects, wearing masks, escaped with an unknown amount of cash. Police are asking for the public's help finding them. Anyone with information is asked to call East Providence police detectives at 401-431-1111.
