As the jackpot climbs above $1.3 billion, one East Providence man is celebrating his win.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—Even though nobody won the jackpot in Saturday night’s record-breaking $900 million PowerBall drawing, one East Providence man is feeling lucky anyway.
Edward Huff claimed a $50,000 winning PowerBall ticket after he matched four numbers and the PowerBall to win.
Huff said he feels lucky, even though he missed being a near-billionaire by just one digit.

Huff and his wife plan to retire in the next few years, so this win will certainly help them settle into the next phase of their lives.
Some of the money will be used to pay for travel expenses, Huff said, noting that they had already booked a trip for next month.
Now, all eyes are on Wednesday’s PowerBall drawing, which includes a stunning jackpot of $1.3 billion. That figure will most certainly climb before the balls are drawn on Wednesday night.
