EP Police Looking For Duo Allegedly Passing Funny Money

Police posted the suspects' photos on Rhode Island's Most Wanted.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI— A man and woman passed counterfeit bills at the RiteAid at 655 Warren Ave., East Providence police allege. According to detectives, the pair allegedly used two $100 counterfeit bills to buy two pre-paid American Express cards. Police have posted the suspects' pictures on the Rhode Island's Most Wanted webpage. Anyone who recognizes them are asked to contact Det. Cpl. Eric J. Rodrigues at 401-435-7600, ext. 20036.
