EP Police Release Photo Of Robbery Suspects
Police say the East Providence robbery and stabbing is connected to a crime committed in Pawtucket.
EAST PROVIDENCE, RI — Police have released a picture of two suspects who allegedly robbed the Towne Wine & Liquor store on Saturday night and stabbed a customer. According to East Providence Lt. Raymond Blinn, the photograph was taken shortly before 9 p.m., around the time the two allegedly donned ski masks and held up the store at 179 Newport Ave.
The victim was taken to Rhode Island Hospital. He is expected to survive.
Police said Sunday they have learned the East Providence hold-up is connected to a robbery that happened in Pawtucket, also on Saturday night.
