EP Robbery Also Linked To Taunton & Raynham Crimes: Police Allege
The Dec. 2 robbery and stabbing in East Providence was already connected to a similar hold-up in Pawtucket.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI—Police in four Massachusetts and Rhode Island communities are working together to find two armed robbers. According to East Providence police Lt. Raymond Blinn, police are confident the same suspects, who held up the Towne Wine & Liquor Store on Saturday night and stabbed a customer, also hit another liquor store in Pawtucket the same night. Now, the same two are being connected to Bay State robberies in Raynham and Taunton.
They're to be considered dangerous, he said. Blinn said the customer stabbed during the East Providence robbery is 68-years-old. He was unarmed.
Police are urging anyone with information to call detectives. They're also reminding the public there is a $1,000 reward for tips leading to an arrest.
