Here are five things you should know about today in and around East Providence:

  2. Ron Procopio and friends perform Broadway songs at 6:30 pm on the lawn outside Weaver Library, 41 Grove Ave.
  3. Learn how to make music with just about anything from Rick Morin and his Rhythm Imaginarium at 11 am at the Riverside branch library, 475 Bullocks Point Ave.
  4. Have your kids started their summer reading yet? Weaver Library has the reading lists for the high school and middle schools with a summary of the books.
