Marcella Regine, 90, East Providence Native

Marcella "Marcy" Regine, of Rumford, East Providence, died Monday, Sept. 23, 2013 at the Philip Hulitar Inpatient Center. She was 90.

She was the wife of the late Vincent Regine. Born in East Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Palmiro and Maria (Cipolli) Giusti.

During World War II, she worked as a nurse's aide at RI Hospital where she received many citations for her dedicated work. She enjoyed her garden and cooking for all of her friends.

She leaves her brother, Leo Giusti, and her sister Gloria Haley, both of East Providence and nieces Carol Giusti and Lisa Giusti both of Barrington. She was the aunt of the late Gail Brennan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Sept. 27, at 10 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., East Providence. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery.
