Maria F. (Rosa) Silva, of East Providence, passed away on Aug.t 5, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 72.
She was born in Newport, the daughter of the late Thomas and Emily Rosa. She was a resident of East Providence for 50 years. She was member of Sacred Heart parish and a caring wife and mother.
She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, John F. Silva; her 4 sons: Michael and wife Cynthia living in Somerset, MA, John and wife Marie living in Suwanee, GA, Richard and wife Jennifer living in East Providence, RI, and Thomas and wife Susan living in Norwich, NY and 8 grandchildren: Jillian, Eric, John, Sarah, Richard, Taylor, Megan, and Marcus.
