Marion L. Hicks-Pompeii, 89, Leaves Many Survivors

Marion L. (Mosher) Hicks-Pompeii, of East Providence, passed away August 6, 2013. She was 89.

She was the wife of the late Joshua Hicks and a daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Brickley) Mosher.

She was the mother of Betty-Lou Cabral (Antone), James Hicks (Arlene), Francine Patriarca (Rocco) and the late Thomas Hicks and Richard Hicks (Jeannine); and the sister of Kenneth Mosher, Lillian McCarthy, Pearl Carbone and the late Frank Mosher, Elsie McCarthy, Ruth Mosher and Virginia Dias. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be held today, August 9, at 11 am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Burial will be in Springvale Cemetery, Rumford. Visitation is one hour prior to the service.
