Mary Borgia, 91, Retired From Nyman's

Her calling hours are today and her funeral is Tuesday from Rebello Funeral Home, East Providence.

Mary Borgia, of Summit St., East Providence, died Aug. 2, 2013, at the Miriam Hospital. She was 91.

She was the wife of the late Andrew Borgia and was predeceased by husband Angelo Paradiso. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Manuel F. and Julia (Soares) Silva.

She worked in quality control for Nyman's manufacturing for 16 years.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law Theresa and Ken Mace of East Providence and her son-in-law Gene Saveory and his wife Grace of Riverside. She is survived by 5 grandchildren; David Saveory, Marc Saveory, Kenneth Mace and Jeffrey Mace, 7 step grandchildren Gina, Scott, Tricia, Missy, Andrew, Michael and Steven, 11 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and 13 step great grandchildren. She is survived by her step children Andrea Charpentier and David Borgia both of Bristol. She was predeceased by her daughter Sandra Saveory and stepson Frank Borgia and her late granddaughter Kristina Saveory. She was the sister of the late Manuel F. Silva, Joseph Silva, Richard Silva, William Silva, Irene Kollbeck and Adeline Cabral.

Her funeral will begin on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at 8 am from the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory, 901 Broadway, East Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 9 am in Sacred Heart Church, Taunton Ave., East Providence. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Calling hours are today from 5-8 pm.
