Murder Suspect Dies At ACI: Christian Boucher Indicted Last Week
The Providence Journal is reporting Christian Boucher died Sunday at the Adult Correctional Institutions.

EAST PROVIDENCE, RI— Christian Boucher, the East Providence man accused of killing his girl friend outside a Burger King restaurant last August, was found dead in his cell on Sunday. The state Corrections Department confirmed the story for Patch on Tuesday. (It was first reported in the Providence Journal.)
“Mr. Christian Boucher was found unresponsive in his cell," said J.R. Ventura, chief of Information and Public Relations at the Adult Correctional Institutions. "All the signs point to suicide. Security and medical staff responded immediately performing CPR until Cranston Rescue arrived. Mr. Boucher was transported to RI Hospital by ambulance where he died. The DOC Special Investigations Unit and the Rhode Island State Police are investigating.”
State police have confirmed the investigation is underway.

"We are working with prison officials to investigate the death of Christian Boucher, age 40, an inmate at the ACI who died this past Sunday," said Laura Meade Kirk, spokeswoman for the Rhode Island State Police. "We are awaiting the results of an autopsy. However, at this time, it does not appear to be suspicious."
The Providence Grand Jury on Friday returned an indictment against Boucher, charging him with second-degree murder in the death of Justine Cavaco, 29, originally of Barrington.
