Navigant Credit Union Moves into E.P.

After its recent merger with Columbus Credit Union, Navigant Credit Union announced on Monday that it has opened branches at 3 Crescent View Ave. in East Providence and on Main Street in Warren.

“Navigant Credit Union aims to provide its members with services to meet all their financial needs and this merger allows us to bring our unique brand of customer service and community support to more consumers in the East Bay,” President and CEO Gary Furtado said in a statement. “We’re excited to become part of two thriving neighborhoods and to serve the needs of our current and future members in Warren and Riverside.”

Navigant Credit Union, the first credit union in Rhode Island when it opened in 1915, kept all Columbus Credit Union employees in the merge, according to the company press release.
