Pet of Week: 'Big Red' Tiger Cat

Red – also known as “Big Red” -- is a gorgeous orange and white tiger domestic medium hair available for adoption at the East Providence Animal Control Center. 

While Red was being neutered and vaccinated, the veterinarian noted that the cat had previously sustained a leg fracture that healed crooked. But the leg is stable.

Red can be a little shy at first but the cat is very affectionate and loves one-on-one attention and would probably do well in a home with other felines. Red is a little underweight so the staff is providing him with wet food to provide extra calories, and hopefully, add on some pounds.
