Reavey Memorial Golf Tourney Teeing Off

The fourth annual Fran Reavey Memorial Golf Tournament will be held Monday, Aug. 12, at Triggs Memorial Golf Course in Providence.

Proceeds from the event will go to the Burke Scholarship Fund in memory of Reavey ,who grew up in East Providence and graduated from East Providence High School.  

The tourney raised enough funds last year to donate $7,000  to the Burke Scholarship Fund, according to Patricia (Reavey) Koza. 

Registration begins at 9 am, with tee-off at 10 am.

The cost for this tourney is $125 -- including 18 holes of golf, riding cart, continental breakfast, dinner and prizes. 

There will also be betting holes and raffles available. You can choose to attend only the dinner and awards presentation at a cost of  $40.

Tee sponsorships also are available at $100. Any donations of merchandise for the raffle would be appreciated as well.
