State Police Identify Woman Killed Tuesday On I-95

PAWTUCKET, RI — Katlina B. Barbosa, 19, of Pawtucket, was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 near exit 26, state police said Tuesday. Barbosa was traveling South when she lost control and went off the road. Her car rolled over an embankment near the Lonsdale Avenue/ Route 122 ramp.

"She was found on the ground near her car when rescue crews arrived, however it is unclear whether she was ejected from the vehicle or exited on her own," state police said. Barbosa was pronounced dead at Rhode Island Hospital. No other cars or people were involved.

The accident is still under investigation.
