Woodrow H. Haley, 94, Business Owner, Decorated Vet
His calling hours are private; relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday.

Woodrow H. "Jim" Haley, of East Providence, died Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013 at VA Medical Center in Providence. He was 94.
He was the beloved husband of Gloria (Giusti) Haley. Born in West Point, Va., he was the son of the late William Russell Haley and Carrie Elizabeth (Coates) Haley.
He was owner of Home Craft for 35 years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran of World War II, earning a Purple Heart, EAME Campaign Medal with 4 bronze stars, Air Medal with 3 bronze Oak Leaf Clusters and 1 Silver Oak Leaf Cluster, Distinguished Unit Badge and the Good Conduct Medal.
Haley and his wife would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 19. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughters Marilyn Libucha of Glocester, Jacqueline Sotnik of Narragansett, 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was the brother of Bernard Haley and William Haley both of VA, and the late Edith Norman, Burnley Ashley, Virginia O'Connell and Olivia French.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, Sept. 27, at 10 am in Our Lady of Loreto Church, 346 Waterman Ave., East Providence. Burial with Military Honors will be at Swan Point Cemetery.
Calling hours will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the charity of your choice . Arrangements have been entrusted to the Rebello Funeral Home and Crematory in East Providence.
