Accident Leads to DUI Arrest, and More...

The following arrests were reported by the Middletown Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

Lorraine Perry, 69, of 19 Sherman Ave., Portsmouth, was arrested
Thursday, July 11 around 5:30 p.m. after she was allegedly involved in an accident
at the corner of Valley Road and West Main Road. She was charged with
driving under the influence, said police. At the scene of the accident, Perry allegedly told police she did not know what happened. Police said she was unsteady on her feet, but they did not ask her to perform field sobriety tests because of her age. At the station, police
