Tiverton Police are seeking help in identifying an armed robbery suspect in the hold-up at Cumberland this past weekend.

Tiverton Police are asking the community for help in identifying the man responsible for an armed robbery at Cumberland Farms over the weekend.

Just before 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9, a white man wearing sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt walked into the Main Road convenience store, pointed a gun at the female cashier and demanded money.

According to Tiverton Police, the armed robber took off on foot in an unknown direction with just $45. Cumberland Farms employees do not keep large amounts of cash in their drawers and periodically make deposits in a drop-safe behind the counter.
