Not to be confused with Liam Gallagher, so presumably, there will be no fighting about scones. The Jesse Liam Band (music samples) plays at the South County Commons at 6 p.m. tonight. The is free and open to the public. This is part of the at the Commons.
The tango, the mamba, probably other cool stuff I don’t even know about. There is tonight at the Towers, starting at 7 p.m. The cost is $10.
In his defense, it’s not like he had a map. On this day in 1610, Henry Hudson sailed into the bay that later was renamed after him, thinking that he had reached the Pacific Ocean.
OK, maybe you retired one year too early, given how things are going this year… Happy 46th birthday to Tim Wakefield! Did you know that much like The Highlander, there can only be one successful knuckeball pitcher at one time? That’s why R.A. Dickey is suddenly successful since Wakefield’s retirement.
