Blogging, events, letters, what more could you want? Many people often ask me, “Hey are you the Patch guy?” And the answer is yes, yes I am. Then, most often they want to know how they can get things on the site. Let me present you with three options:
The easiest way for me is if you use our blog form. If you have a user account, congrats! You can submit directly to our queue by going here. For more info on blogging, go here.
If you think your item is more appropriate for the events calendar, that's a simple enough process as well. Go here, and then hit the “Add An Event” button at the bottom of the page. (Note: You might want to search for your event first, since we do have a calendar editor that adds things on her own awesome initiative.)
Finally, do you need some input before posting? Or do you have a release that is more of a traditional “letter to the editor” thing? Fine then – send it along to me, either at stephen.greenwell@patch.com or narragansett@patch.com.
I would like to receive your periodical on a full-time daily basis. If that's the case, then you can get it in your e-mail box, bright and early each morning, by going here.
Space: The Final Frontier. On this day in 1966, the United States launched the Gemini 10, a manned mission.
We can't stop here. This is bat country.” Here's a posthumous 74th birthday wish to Hunter S. Thompson, the master of Gonzo journalism, and one of the most quotable writers ever. For his quotes, click here, but of course, a reminder that they're not acceptable for all audiences.
