“It takes a great man to be a good listener.” – Calvin Coolidge. Here are today’s government meetings:

• The South Kingstown Town Council has a meeting at 5 p.m. for adoption of the preliminary budget.
• The Narragansett Capital Reserve Committee meets at 5:30 p.m.
• The Narragansett Town Council has a work session at 6:30 p.m. with the school committee, followed by a regular session at 7:30 p.m.
• The South Kingstown Recreation Commission meets at 7 p.m.

Oh no! Maybe there seriously aren’t that many events today, given that it’s the Anniversary of the Oil Expropriation. As a result, our events calendar for today is a bit barren. I don’t watch anything you’re in, but you’re always charming on late night talk shows. Happy 38^th birthday to Sutton Foster! She’s been in a bunch of stuff, but currently stars in Bunheads on ABC Family.
