Blogging, events, letters, what more could you want? Many people often ask me, “Hey are you the Patch guy?” And the answer is yes, yes I am. Then, most often they want to know how they can get things on the site. Let me present you with three options:
- The easiest way for me is if you use our blog form. If you have a user account, congrats! You can submit directly to our queue by going here. For more info on blogging, go here.
- If you think your item is more appropriate for the events calendar, that's a simple enough process as well. Go here, and then hit the “Add An Event” button at the bottom of the page. (Note: You might want to search for your event first, since we do have a calendar editor that adds things on her own awesome initiative.)
- Finally, do you need some input before posting? Or do you have a release that is more of a traditional “letter to the editor” thing? Fine then – send it along to me, either at stephen.greenwell@patch.com or narragansett@patch.com.
I would like to receive your periodical on a full-time daily basis. If that's the case, then you can get it in your e-mail box, bright and early each morning, by going here.
A proud day for those needing $1 plates and rugs. On this day in 1962, the first Wal-Mart opened.
Happy 48th, I guess! It is the birthday for Jose Canseco, who’s not a great guy or anything, but well… It’s his birthday. Send him a cake or something.
