Here are the (more than) Five Things for Thursday, February 28, 2013:

“Democracy means that anyone can grow up to be president, and anyone who doesn’t grow up can be vice president.” – Johnny Carson. Here are today’s government meetings:

• Narragansett Probate Court meets at 10 a.m.
• Narragansett Municipal Court meets at 6 p.m.
• The Narragansett Planning Board meets at 6 p.m.
