Looking to entertain the kids before Friday? You've got plenty of options!

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Thursday, August 9, 2012:
Entertaining kids of all ages with rhythm and dancing! I mean, you can probably guess that from the name of Rhythm Imaginarium anyway though. The event runs from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Peace Dale Library, and it’s free. Kids of all ages are welcome to attend.
Nom nom nom! Looking for some good eats? There is a for kids at the Pier Middle School in Narragansett at 11:30 a.m. courtesy of the Narragansett Lions Club.

Not about telephones, so don’t bother Beyonce. The Rotary Club of Wakefield at Liliana’s Italian Restaurant at 12:15 p.m. They meet every Wednesday, you know, so swing by for fellowship, lunch and a guest speaker.
Tea time! The Kettle Pond Visitors Center in Charlestown is hosting tea and biscuits, and discussing the popular PBS film series Globe Trekkers. For more info, click – the program is free, by the way, and starts at 3 p.m.

Encore! The summer concert series at the South County Commons continues tonight, with Bruce Jacques. The starts at 6 p.m., and while it’s free admission, a food pantry or Toys for Tots donation is recommended.
Get blinded (not literally) with science. Maury Loontjens Memorial Library in Narragansett is hosting “” at 6:30 p.m. Admission is free, and pre-registration isn’t required.
DANGER WILL ROBINSON! Starting in early September, we’re going to be phasing out the adding of new calendar events by our staff. This means that if you’re from a group or organization, you’ll have to start doing them yourself. It’s pretty simple, though! While logged into your Patch account, just go here.
