5 THINGS: Trolleys, Classic Cars and Food Trucks

Here are the (more than) Five Things for Wednesday, August 1, 2012:

Channel your inner Mr. Rogers. You can take of Narragansett, starting from the Towers, for $15.

Get a story told to you, or rather, your kids. Peace Dale Library is hosting for kids between ages 3 and 5 today. The fun starts at 10:30 a.m.

Veterans Group meeting at the South Kingstown Senior Center. The is free to join, and meets at 11 a.m.

BLOOD! There will be a blood center drive at A Place To Grow at 2 p.m.

ACTING! The Contemporary Theater Company is hosting its at the South County Commons at 5 p.m. The cost is $10.

Classic cars and clamcakes with (Aunt) Carrie. There will be for charity at Aunt Carrie's tonight, starting at 5 p.m.

Enjoy the greatest in food from a truck! It's the weekly at Narragansett Town Beach, starting at 6 p.m.

Hoops! There is for just $5 at Peace Dale Elementary. The games run from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., and are open to anyone 35+.

I guess it was no longer falling down, then. On this day in 1831, a new London Bridge was opened.
