8th Annual Mariner Hockey Golf Tourney on July 30

Dear friends of Mariner Hockey,

Thanks to your generosity, the Narragansett High School hockey team has completed another very successful hockey season. We thank you for your support over the past year and ask that you join us again this year by supporting the program at Narragansett High School.  The team gets support from the school system, but also relies on private funding.

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to play in our eighth annual golf tournament and support the Mariner Hockey Team.  The tournament will be held on Monday, July 30 at the Laurel Lane Country Club in West Kingston. 

The day will begin at 7:30 a.m. with registration and coffee, followed by an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start.  Upon completion of 18 holes of golf we will have lunch, prizes and several raffle drawings. 

The cost for golf, a cart and lunch remains at $100 per person.  If you wish to join us for lunch only, the cost is $25 per person.

One of the best ways to raise funds in a golf tournament is through tee sponsors and corporate donations.  Enclosed please find our tee sponsorship form.  Family and friends of players are encouraged to sponsor a tee.  If you or anyone you know would like to be a corporate sponsor, please have them contact one of the Committee Members listed below.  This is not just limited to businesses; we welcome tee sponsors from families as well.

We will also have t-shirt sponsors.  We will have sponsor names printed on the back of the t-shirt, which each golfer receives.  Anyone wishing to be a t-shirt sponsor ($250), please contact Bob Donnelly at (401) 789-7800.

Thank you for your anticipated support and generosity.  Please respond early as we are limited to 128 golfers.  The tournament has been a sell out in years past and we expect the tournament to sell out early this year.  The only way to ensure placement in the tournament is to include payment with your registration.  We will not be able to secure placement without payment.
