Accidental Death in Storm’s Aftermath
According to Narragansett police, the death of a man on Arciero Court appeared to be accidental following the blizzard.

Narragansett police said a well-being check on an elderly resident following the blizzard on Sunday revealed the death of the resident.
According to police, at about 9:03 a.m. on Feb. 10, they received a request for a well-being check on Charles Strauss, an elderly resident of 14 Arciero Court. Police said that when Strauss didn’t make contact with them, they gained entry to the home and found him, deceased.
Police said that the death was not suspicious, and appeared to be accidental in nature. Further details were not released. Det. Lt. Scott W. Perrin led the investigation and released this report to the media.

According to online property records, Strauss lived at the home dating back to 1989. An obituary has not yet been released. Per usual police procedure, a release to the media of the name of a deceased person means that the family has been notified.
