Applications Open For 2022 RI Season Beach Passes
Season parking passes for Rhode Island's eight state beaches cost $30 for residents or $60 for non-residents.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — The forecast may call for up to half a foot of snow in Rhode Island this week, but some are already dreaming of summer beach days. Applications are now open for 2022 season parking passes for Rhode Island's eight state beaches.
A season pass covers the cost of parking at the following beaches: Charlestown Breachway, East Matunuck, East Beach, Misquamicut, Roger Wheeler, Salty Brine and Scarborough. While a season pass provides unlimited access to state beach parking lots, it will not guarantee a spot on high-capacity days or provide preference over other types of passes, the Department of Environmental Management said. All parking is on a first-come, first serve basis.
Parking rates are based off of the license plate of the vehicle registered to the pass, which is non-transferable and can only be used with the vehicle registered. A Rhode Island registration is required to qualify for in-state rates.
