Edward J. Boisvert, Master Gardener, Dies at 76

Edward J. Boisvert, 76, of Wakefield, died Sunday, August 18. He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Russell) Boisvert for 57 years. Born in East Providence, he was a son of the late Edward J. and Annette (Garceau) Boisvert.

Mr. Boisvert was the manager for Simon’s Supply in Pawtucket for many years. He enjoyed golfing, woodcarving, and being a Master Gardener. 

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Cheryl and Russell Davis of Middleton, MA and Michelle and Timothy Shenton of Bedford, NH; four grandchildren, Monica Davis, Eric Davis, Nathaniel Shenton, and Megan Shenton; and a sister Lorraine Miranda of East Providence. 

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, August 22, at Christ the King Church in Kingston followed by a burial at St. Mary Cemetery in Pawtucket. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shady Acres Nursing Home, 415 Gardner Road, W. Kingston, RI 02892.
