Job Hunting In 2018? Wallet Hub Says Location Makes A Difference

Wallet Hub, the personal finance website, has compiled a list of best and worst cities in the U.S. to find work. Guess where RI stands?

CRANSTON, RI—Boston's still a hub for employment, according to Wallet Hub, the personal finance website. But finding a job in Rhode Island is another story. The new report on Best and Worst U.S. Cities to Find a Job argues luck finding work is largely a matter of location. Portland, Maine, and Boston made the top 10 best cities, with Portland coming in seventh and Boston in the tenth spot. Nashua, N.H., was respectable at 27th. But Providence ranked way down the list at 156st out of 182. Detroit, Mich., and Shreveport, La., came in last.
