Wind chills could plunge Rhode Island into temperatures that feel as low as 15 and 20 below.

NARRAGANSETT, RI — A hazardous weather outlook has been issued for Rhode Island starting on Wednesday, the National Weather Service said. Temperatures are expected to plunge to dangerous lows. Wind chills could make the 'feel like' temperature in the 15 to 20 below range.
Here is the forecast for Wednesday through Monday:
Wind chills may drop to as low as 15 to 20 below zero Wednesday night into Thursday morning and possibly again Thursday night into Friday morning across portions of northern interior Massachusetts. This may require Wind Chill Advisories to be issued.
A coastal storm may bring significant snow to at least a portion of the region sometime during the New Year`s weekend, but it remains uncertain how close to the coast this storm will track.
