Live Blog: URI vs. Temple Men's Basketball

KINGSTON – Today, the University of Rhode Island Rams (5-18, 2-6 Atlantic 10) host the Temple Owls (16-5, 5-2 Atlantic 10) in a nationally televised contest at the Ryan Center.

The Rams have a two-game winning streak coming into the game, as they upset Dayton last Saturday and beat the University of Massachusetts Minutemen in .

However, they’ll be hard pressed to make it three in a row against the Owls, who have been a persistent thorn in the Rams’ side even when URI has had better teams. The Owls are also second in the conference in 3-point shooting percentage at 40.5 percent, whereas the Rams struggle to close out and defend the 3.
