Narragansett Police Log: February 13, 2013

Narragansett Woman Arrested for Warrant, Suspended License

Lorrie Sekator Williams, 55, of 77 Congdon St., Apt. #A, Narragansett, was arrested at about 5:07 p.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with driving with a suspended license. Police also noted that a Fourth Division District Court warrant was out for her arrest.

According to police, an officer familiar with Williams from previous arrested saw her driving on a silver Cadillac Escalade on South Pier Road. A traffic stop was made on Woodruff Avenue.

Police said a background check confirmed the warrant out for Williams’ arrest. Police said the warrant was related to a suspended license charge on Sept. 6, and that Williams’ license was still suspended.

According to police, Williams also was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the traffic stop. She was cited for this as well. Police said Williams was processed at headquarters and then released at about 8:20 p.m.

Narragansett Woman Charged With License Violation

Terri L. Carlson, 35, of 47 Pepperbush Trail, Narragansett, was arrested at about 9:25 a.m. on Feb. 13 and charged with driving with a suspended license.

According to police, an officer monitoring traffic on Boston Neck Road saw a Honda Civic EX with a Rhode Island plate but an out of state inspection sticker. Police said a check of the car’s registration revealed that it was suspended.

Police said a traffic stop was made on Bridgetown Road near Lakeside as a result. Police said the driver – Carlson – was not the car’s registered owner, but that her license had been suspended as of Jan. 9 for failing to pay traffic fines.

According to police, Carlson was arrested without incident, processed at headquarters and then released at about 10 a.m. The car was towed from the scene.
