Narragansett Police Log: July 3, 2012
A South Kingstown man is charged with shoplifting fireworks from Stop and Shop.

South Kingstown Man Charged with Shoplifting Fireworks
Todd B. Dilibero, 38, of 468 Kingstown Road, South Kingstown, was arrested at about 7:46 a.m. on July 3 and charged with shoplifting.

According to police, two employees of Stop and Shop had Dilibero in the security office when they arrived at the store. The employees told police that Dilibero took about $139 in fireworks from the store without paying.
Police said Dilibero couldn’t provide a receipt for the fireworks, and store security cameras taped the incident. As a result, he was charged with shoplifting, processed at police headquarters and released at about 8:15 a.m.

Richmond Man Arrested on Warrant
Andrew P. Wylie, 21, of 231 Alton Bradford Road, Richmond, was arrested at about 2:02 a.m. on July 3. Police said a Fourth Division District Court warrant was issued on June 22 for his arrest stemming from a Charlestown police charge of obstruction.
According to police, an officer concluding a traffic stop on Point Judith Road near Greenbrier Road saw a car driven by Wylie pass by him. A check of the car’s registration revealed that the owner – Wylie – had a warrant out for his arrest.
Police said the officer searched the nearby area and found the car on State Street. Wylie was near the car, and a background check confirmed the warrant.
According to police, Wylie was arrested without incident. He was arraigned before a justice of the peace at about 3:45 a.m. and released.
Cranston Woman Arrested on Warrant
Barbara Ordones, 44, of 85 Briggs St., Apt. #1011, Cranston, was arrested at about 3:10 p.m. on July 3. Police said Ordones had a Superior Court warrant out for her arrest on a felony charge of third degree domestic assault.
According to police, a RIPTA driver told a dispatcher that Ordones was out of control near the Port Side restaurant in Galilee, banging on his bus door and calling him a n*****.
Police said when they arrived, Ordones was highly intoxicated and screaming at bystanders. A background check was performed, which revealed the warrant. She was arrested and transported to the ACI at about 7:30 p.m.
