Portfolio Day Friday at SKHS
Friday is Portfolio Day at SKHS, a day of fun and candy while the serious work of portfolio presentations also happens.

Letter initially sent to the South Kingstown High School listserv by Principal Robert McCarthy.
Dear Parents:
The SKHS PTG will once again be hosting its annual reception for parents and seniors on portfolio presentation day Friday, Feb. 8 in the cafeteria from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The festive, celebratory atmosphere offers parents, students and teachers an opportunity to share this milestone in the graduation process with one another.
The cafeteria will be set up with tables of food and drinks, balloons, flowers, music and a huge glass bowl with inspirational sentiments inside. To add to the celebration this year, we will have a candy bar!

In the past years, parents of seniors have kindly donated refreshments to help make this day special for both parents and students, and we are hoping for the same this year. Also in the past, raffle items have been donated by parents and local businesses (gift cards, stationary, etc.).
Below is a list of items needed for the reception. Please contact Libby Swan at libster3@verizon.net if you are able to donate any of these items.
If anyone is interested in helping out the day of the celebration we would love to have you! Please know that you are welcome to attend the reception whether or not you have been invited to attend your student's actual portfolio presentation.
Thank you in advance for your generosity and support.
