Reed Accepting Applications for D.C. Internship

Full-time internships are available in D.C. for college and graduate students. The application deadline is April 6.

U.S. Senator Jack Reed (D-RI) is currently accepting applications for summer interns to serve in his Washington, D.C. office. 

College and graduate students are encouraged to apply.  The internships are paid and the deadline for applications is Friday, April 6, 2012.

“An internship provides students with valuable work experience and educational opportunities,” Reed said.  “Interns participate in the day to day operations of a Senate office and get a firsthand look at how the federal government works.”

Interns in Senator Reed’s Washington, DC office help research legislative issues, give tours of the U.S. Capitol, attend committee hearings, and provide administrative support to Senator Reed and his staff.
