RI Weather: Air Quality Alert For Monday

The state Department of Environmental Management has issued an air quality alert statewide (including Block Island) for Monday due to unhealthy ozone levels. The alert runs from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

People can go to a cooling station to stay out of the heat. Most communities are using the libraries as cooling stations.
