RI Weather: Winter Ends This Weekend?
Could these snow showers be the end of winter? At least, the temperatures go up next week, the National Weather Service says.

Winter is hanging on for at least this weekend. According to the National Weather Service, snow showers are forecast for Saturday night and Sunday. Woonsocket could pick up an inch. So could Providence. By Tuesday, the high temperature is supposed to hit 47.

A slight chance of showers after 3pm. Partly sunny, with a high near 45. North wind around 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20%.

A chance of rain showers before 10pm, then a chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31. North wind 6 to 9 mph. Chance of precipitation is 40%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.

A chance of snow showers. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 39. Northeast wind around 14 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. Little or no snow accumulation expected.
