RI Weather Latest: Winter Storm Watch (Except At The Coast)
Wednesday's weather impacts may depend on your location. The coast is expected to escape the brunt. But lots of snow will fall elsewhere.

COVENTRY, RI — Wednesday's forecast calls for significant snowfall and more howling winds. But while Coventry is expected to collect almost a foot of snow, Newport and the coast might escape with a dusting.
But that's still iffy.
As of this morning, the National Weather Service issued a hazardous weather outlook for Newport and Bristol.

Potential for significant snow and wind early Wednesday into early Thursday. Uncertainty remains on where the rain-snow line willsetup, thus too early to say where (inland vs the coast) exactly the greatest risk for significant snow will occur.
The rest of the state is under a Winter Storm Watch. At least six inches of heavy wet snow is forecast.
