RI Weather: Snow Forecast For Monday: NWS
Old man winter is not done with Rhode Island, according to the National Weather Service.

Shades of the April Fool's Day blizzard of 1997? Hopefully, no. But Old man winter is not done with Rhode Island, according to the National Weather Service. A little snow is in the forecast for Sunday night along the coast in Narragansett. The rest of the state will see some snow Monday morning, but it will shut off around noon. The snow continues all day Monday along the coast and in Newport. Accumulations between 1 inch (Newport) and 2 inches (Charlestown) are expected.
With rain in Tuesday's forecast, any snow that sticks will likely wash away.
Here is the forecast for Newport, according to the National Weather Service.
